Data Holdings offers direct pass through of power costs to our customers without markup. Power utilized at Data Holdings' is exempt from Wisconsin sales and use tax. When the benefit of sales tax savings is combined with the favorable utility rate differential (We-Energies CP1 commercial rate vs. Madison Gas & Electric's E-20 commercial rate), Data Holdings delivers a 40% cost savings in power costs (average cost per Kwh of 6.35 cents vs. 10.14 cents). On a 25 KW installed load, this presents over $8,750 in annual cost savings and $17,500 over two years. Additional cost savings will also be realized on allocated common costs.
